Clement Boys II | Atlanta Child and Baby Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing Alex and Luke in the fall of last year. Their parents, Makenzie and Cameron asked me over for another session recently and I could not believe how much their boys had grown! Luke, who was a 3 month old when I saw him before was now walking (running mostly) and did not want to sit still for pictures - he wanted to play! We all definitely got in our exercise for the day chasing these two around but in the end I believe it was well worth it. We ended up with some great shots of these two handsome little ones.

Searcy Newborn | Atlanta Newborn Photography

Congratulations to Jess and Mike on their beautiful newborn baby boy Cole. He is every bit as cute as his older brother Evan, who is already one of my favorite little ones to photograph. Cole was sooo good during his session! I was able to photograph him within his first week in this world so he was still very flexible and easy to position. See for yourself - he is a real cutie!

I really enjoyed my time with this family. Christy and Matt are familiar faces from a recent wedding I photographed and their kids Drew and Natalie were so good! Drew wasn't shy at all and jumped right into the photo session, posing and smiling as soon as I pointed the camera at him. Little Natalie took a little while to warm up but once she did she really shined. What a little cutie!

Jessica and Mike's Wedding Day at Lake Lanier

Nina and Chris's Wedding Day at Villa Christina | Atlanta Wedding Photography

Well, their big day finally arrived. After two engagement sessions, Nina and Chris were primed for a great day of wedding photos and they did not disappoint. They both looked amazing and were just as natural in front of the camera as they were during the sessions. The ceremony and reception took place at Villa Christina and Spring came early as the weather was warm and beautiful. We had a wonderful time celebrating their day with them and their families! Nina and Chris - Pre Wedding Session

Nina and Chris will be married at the beautiful Villa Christina in a couple of weeks and I met them there for some pre-wedding photos recently. It was actually their second e-session with me - which is a first! They purchased a wedding package that included a bridal session but they opted for more shots of the two of them together instead. As before they were a ton of fun and made my job much easier by being completely comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Love this couple!

Erica and Michael Akin - 1 year later

Almost a year ago to the day I photographed Erica and Michael's wedding at St. John United Methodist Church in Atlanta. As it sometimes happens on wedding days, the schedule didn't go as planned and we didn't have enough time for the bride and groom photos after the ceremony. Erica contacted me recently wanting to rectify this situation so we met at the church to get those shots! Erica had her hair and makeup done and donned her wedding dress once again. Michael played along and suited up in the same sharp tux he was sporting on their wedding day. The weather cooperated perfectly and mimicked their day last year - so these photos should fit in nicely with the ones from then.

Amanda and Bryan's Wedding Day

In the wake of the "Great Snowstorm of 2011" where Atlanta was shut down for a week, Amanda and Bryan pledged their love and devotion to one another. Their ceremony took place at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn and the reception followed at the beautiful Atrium in Norcross. Despite the cold and slippery conditions, our bride and groom (as well as the entire wedding party) braved the elements and allowed us to capture some great memories of their day. Following the ceremony Amanda and Bryan changed into their comfy wedding attire - Amanda sporting her second beautiful wedding dress and her sassy shoes and Bryan in his Navy uniform complete with medals and his hat. Loved it! We don't see that at every wedding! And to add a little more significance to the day, Bryan's sister, who was also a bridesmaid, went into labor during the reception and was rushed to the hospital! After the reception our newlyweds went to meet their new niece and end a perfect day on which they now have two blessings to celebrate.

Congratulations you guys! You were such a joy to work with and we sincerely appreciate the kindness you and your families extended to us before, during and after your wedding. We hope you love your images!

Martin Family Newborn Session

Congratulations to Lindsay and Doug on their newest addition, Luke. He was such a good baby for his photos. He started off asleep in grandma's arms then as soon as we put him down he woke up, looked right up at me and smiled - click - sweet! Before long he was asleep again and let us position him however we wanted so we just had some fun. At one point he yawned and stretched then settled into this Mr. Universe pose - it was priceless.

Searcy Family - Evan's 2 year old session

Long time clients Jess and Mike brought Evan into our studio for his 2 year session and he is still one of the happiest little boys I've met! He's just a natural in front of the camera. Mike brought along a very cool train from his childhood to include in the session. I love including props that have sentimental meaning to the family and this one worked exceptionally well!

Newborn Session with the Mani Family

Congratulations to Kajal and Mahesh on their precious little girl, Maya. In contrast to my last newborn session where the baby slept the whole time, this little doll wanted to be alert and awake for her modeling debut! We waited her out and eventually we got some of the adorable sleeping baby shots that I love so much. A special thank you goes out to my sister Kelly for making the baby hammock for me for Christmas. I love it! We didn't get to use it much this time around - this baby was tiny and it swallowed her up! But I definitely plan on incorporating it into my baby sessions more in the future.

Kajal and Mahesh - we worked hard to get these shots but I think it was worth it in the end! I hope you enjoy your photos.

Emily and Justin's Wedding Day

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is how close I feel to the families as I get to know them throughout their special day. Well this particular wedding WAS my family and it was nothing short of amazing. My cousin Emily married Justin at the Church of the Holy Communion in Charleston, SC on Thanksgiving weekend and I had the opportunity to capture their incredible day. Emily was simply stunning and I still find it hard to believe that she's old enough to be married! Where did the time go??!! Justin and his groomsmen were the most fun group of guys I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They were up for anything!

Magby Family Christmas Photo Session

This was my third photo shoot with the Magbys - Tyrone, Tanesha and little Raena. We always have fun at our sessions, singing and making fools of ourselves trying to get Raena to smile! Tanesha requested a Christmas theme and it was too cold outside so we held the session in our home studio. We had already put up our Christmas tree so we got a few shots in front of it, then headed into the studio to finish up. A very good time was had! Lots of laughs and great expressions captured. Nina and Chris Engagement

Baby Nicholas | Newborn Photography

Jenny and Sanjoy Wedding

It was a definite pleasure photographing this wedding. It was an Indian wedding and unlike anything I've ever shot before. All the colors were just stunning and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. I just loved Jenny's sari, jewelry and the henna on her hands was amazing. The shots of her hands were among my favorites of the day but nothing could top the interaction between Jenny and Sanjoy that day and it shows in their photos together. You could just feel the love between them! As usual, I had an absolute blast! Congratulations you two!

McNeely - 9 Month Old Photo Session

Long time favorite clients of mine, Mariah and Noah brought little Tripp into our studio for his 9 month photos. He was a bundle of energy and would NOT sit still! Not much of a surprise there, most 9 month olds are all over the place. The trick was to put something, a ball, a block, a small pillar with a block on it, a barrel, a chair, etc in the middle of the floor then let him think it was HIS idea to go over and play with it, then snap away! Mariah had a great idea and brought some Cheerios with her for some fun shots. We ended up with some really cute photos of the little guy; my favorites are below. Thanks so much Mariah and Noah! Baby Maia

Almost two years ago Becky and I had the pleasure of photographing Cresean and Kendra's wedding. Shortly thereafter they moved to chilly Illinois and got pregnant! After baby Maia arrived, Cresean joined the Army/National Guard and is currently in boot camp. Kendra recently traveled to Atlanta to visit family and gave me a call wanting 7 month old photos of Maia. She wanted to give them to Cresean as a graduation gift. I was happy to oblige! We met at Vines Botanical Gardens (one of my favorite spots) and had a great time catching up with her and taking pictures of her little cutie. Thanks so much Kendra and congratulations Cresean!
